Friday: 6/10. Yard duty: jaw tight. Third period: still tight until J. pointed at the sign in line three. I stopped writing and put the marker down. Shoulders followed. By the car I was no longer biting an imaginary pencil.
Mind
The wrong line remains in the notes with the correction beside it. Erasing it would remove the useful part. Ask Year 8 to check the transformation, not trust the handwriting. Mine was exceptionally neat at the precise point where it became false.
Emotion
An incorrect minus sign was identified. Irritation was briefly experienced, mostly at being observed making it. J. explained the correction well. Satisfaction followed. The class survived the discovery that its teacher is not a calculator.
