Emotion
Wife took a photo at a family meal I missed because of nights. Everyone round my brother's visit from Spain, all looking pleased with themselves. I was glad Mum had a good afternoon. Then I noticed they had used the extension table, in our house, and that annoyed me more than a photo of a meal ought to. Nobody had done anything wrong. I'd said go ahead and they had. At work I showed the picture to a lad who asked about the building job and explained how we got that much room out of the back. Left the bit about missing the meal out. Still had the hump when I got home.
Mind
Daughter sent a link about her course in Manchester and I've read the same page four times now. Plenty about opportunities, not much about what an ordinary week involves. I want to know where she has to be and how often, which seems a reasonable starting point. She says that will be in a different document. Fair enough, send that one as well. I'm not collecting evidence against the course, although my wife says that's what it sounds like. I would like to picture her doing something more specific than being in Manchester. At present I've got the route from the station and a photograph of a building.
Body
16.34. Took the dog round after getting up and he stopped dead at a cat under a car. I had the lead in the wrong hand and got turned round more sharply than intended. Nothing pulled, but I noticed how stiff I was doing the same turn at the next corner, without the dog helping. Sleeping all day seems to set me in one position. By the time we got back I was moving all right and could have done another lap, except he had made it quite clear he wanted his tea. Sat on the bottom stair to undo my shoes. Knee made its usual noise. Dog looked at it as if something edible had fallen out.
