Body
I leaned over the bridge model until my right hip stiffened. My daughter asked me to move because I was blocking the lamp. Reasonable correction. Sitting back, I noticed how firmly I had been pressing both hands against the table.
Emotion
The collapsed span bothered me more than it bothered her. She laughed, then asked for more glue. I was oddly proud of that response and mildly disappointed not to be required. The second feeling is not especially flattering.
Mind
I could identify the weak joint immediately. That was not the assignment. She wanted me to time the next load test, not redesign her structure. I wrote down the result she asked for. Apparently there are projects where my stamp is unnecessary.
