She said the year wasn't the point. I felt unfairly accused for about three seconds, then embarrassed. Asked her to finish. The funny part was still funny when I wasn't standing in front of it with a calendar.
Mind
Observation: I knew the date. Conclusion: supplying it did not improve the conversation. Accuracy is useful when it serves the thing being done. Tonight the thing was listening, not tracing a batch.
Body
Microscope checks left the base of my neck tight. At dinner I was still angled forward like the story needed inspecting. Sat back when my wife stopped talking. The chair had a perfectly usable back.
