Mind
I am reviewing the information in my daughter's aviation folder because she has asked which part she should work on now, not eight years from now. I have collected so much that even I must search before answering. The long plan is useful, but it does not tell her what to do with the mathematics exercise on the table tonight. I want to divide the papers into present requirements and later questions. She would prefer to keep some drawings of aircraft in there as well. They are not requirements, but it is her folder. I am trying to find a place for them without making another section larger than the rest.
Emotion
One of the children greeted me by my name instead of calling Driver, then showed me that she had written it inside a thank-you card. I was pleased. I checked the spelling, though I did not tell her there was one letter missing, and put the card where it would not get bent. These children are usually rushing to their friends or looking for something in a bag, so it was good to be remembered separately from the bus. My wife read it at home and smiled at the picture. The bus in the picture had only two wheels. I said the front view explains that, and she said she had not asked for a report.
Body
The return journey was slow and hot, and by the School gate my shirt was sticking to the seat at the back. After the children had been handed over and the bus checked, I stood outside for a while before attending to the record. My right knee needed that short time before I could walk freely. I do not notice how still I am sitting until I get out. At home the youngest wanted me to crouch beside his small car and inspect its wheel. I sat on the step instead and brought the car up to my own level. A proper inspection does not require me to fold myself into every position he chooses.
