Emotion
my fiancé's aunt asked whether we'd decided on the music and i heard a whole insult in a completely normal question because i remembered her saying i talk too much. i answered like she was about to attack my wedding, all prepared with prices and reasons, and she just said she knew somebody who could play. girl. now i'm embarrassed and also mad that i have to be embarrassed when she's the one who made the comment in the first place. babe said she was trying to help and i said i KNOW, louder than necessary, so that was excellent evidence for my case. i can appreciate an offer and still not feel comfortable with the person making it
Mind
trying to decide if i actually like the centerpieces on my wedding board or if i like how they look in a room with no guests and lighting nobody gets in real life. every picture has this enormous table with about six plates on it and ours will have cousins, purses, drinks and my dad's elbows. started putting stuff on our tiny table to see and babe couldn't find anywhere for his dinner, which honestly answered several questions. i still want it pretty, i am not suddenly becoming a minimalist because a vase got in the way, but maybe people seeing each other across the table could be part of the design too
Body
took the headset off at lunch and my ear felt like it still had the stupid thing on it, like there was a little invisible dent behind it, so i sat outside with my food for a few minutes where nobody could hand me a ringing phone. HOT obviously, phoenix remains committed, but the sun on my arms actually felt good after being frozen in the office all morning. i was hungry enough to finish before checking anything and could feel my shoulders dropping while i chewed, which sounds dramatic but they practically touch my earrings when the boss starts yelling my name. went back in slower than i came out, then immediately needed my sweater
