The sheet has to show what actually happened at changeover, including who checked it. I can learn that. Asked for another shadow shift before deciding about supervision; no point guessing from the doorway.
Emotion
I expected paperwork to mean pretending the line ran perfectly. She showed me a correction she'd signed herself. Felt less put off by the job after that, though I'm not volunteering for every headache.
Body
Flour had dried along the skin above my gloves by clean-down. Washed, dried, then sat beside the supervisor with the record sheet. My feet liked the chair more than my back liked the tiny desk.
