Emotion
My son saved me a seat on the couch for wrestling, actually moved his stuff off it before I came in, and I got stupid happy over a place I PAY RENT FOR lol. He's seventeen now so usually I hear him entering and leaving and have to catch the news in between. We were yelling at the same match like we used to and he stayed after it ended to show me something on his phone. I didn't ask about homework or his room. Then my daughter came down and said why yall loud and I nearly said because we live here. She sat on the arm of my chair anyway. Good night, no big event, just everybody downstairs.
Mind
I keep thinking about how my daughter asks can she go somewhere when she already has every detail lined up, whose mother is driving and who else is going, like she knows which questions I'll throw at her. Then I find a NEW question because the answer came too quick lol. My sister says the girl learned preparation from me and I can't be mad about it. I'm not mad, I just want to know the plan is the actual plan and not the version for Mama. I said I'd speak to the other mother. Now I'm trying to remember her name because I've called that woman baby for two years and apparently we need real names today.
Body
My daughter wanted to do my hair on my night off and I said nothing tight because I still got a whole head under here, she rolled her eyes but those fingers felt GOOD. I sat there with my feet on the coffee table and got so sleepy I kept dropping my chin, then she would pull my head back up like ma please cooperate lol. Different from coming home after a shift when I'm tired but every little sound keeps me awake. This time I could hear her talking and the TV on and just not move. She took a picture before she let me see the mirror. Apparently I was asleep with my mouth open. Delete that right now.
