Body
Two legs and one gate delay that aged everybody differently. Sinuses dry, feet making formal complaints by the time I got home. Put the suitcase down and walked barefoot across our kitchen. Strange luxury: knowing exactly where the glasses live.
Emotion
Mama asked if we could do something that didn't require a boarding pass. Fair. I keep planning these grand memories and sometimes she just wants me beside her buying tomatoes. We got lunch, and I didn't turn it into an itinerary. Growth, apparently.
Mind
The countries list can remain uncrossed for an afternoon. Put her next free day in my calendar before checking open trips. Still doing the language lesson tonight, though. Wanting international routes doesn't require treating home as the place between departures.
