Mind
The invitation proof is on the table and I keep finding things I would change even though the spacing is right. She likes the type she picked. I like the other one because the small letters are easier to read, but nobody is going to read our wedding invitation from across a room. That is what she said. I made both versions so we could compare them on paper instead of the screen. Now I think hers may be right for this. I have looked at it too long to tell. At the shop I would ask the customer which one they wanted. Here I am also the customer. That makes it harder.
Emotion
Mom had found one of Dad's old work shirts and asked if I wanted it. I said yes because it was still in good condition, then held it in my lap on the drive home without putting it in the bag. That was awkward with the seat belt. I moved it before starting the truck. At home she asked where I wanted to keep it and I did not have an answer. It is too large for me across the shoulders. I do not want it altered. It is hanging in the garage now, away from the grease. I went back out after supper to make sure the hook was firm. It was firm the first time too.
Body
We practised the wedding dance in the kitchen after moving the two chairs against the wall. I kept looking down to see where her feet were going, which made my shoulders lean forward. She said she could tell without looking that I was counting. I was counting. After several tries my knee felt warm but not bad, and I stopped gripping her hand so hard. The cat walked between us twice. We had to stop for that. I could have kept going a little longer, but she said it was enough for one evening. Put the chairs back and drank a glass of water. I was warmer than I thought I would be.
