we had this question in law about whether something being legal makes it right and i had my answer ready before the teacher finished, obviously no, next question. but then a girl in my class brought up rules about school uniform and i couldn't explain why i was treating that differently without making up a new rule halfway through. i still think she was wrong about the example she used. i've been arguing it again in my head on the bus though and now i can't remember her exact words, only the annoying calm way she said them. would be helpful if my brain recorded the argument instead of just recording me losing it.

my little sister asked if she could have my side of the room when i go to uni and i actually got upset, which is ridiculous because i've spent YEARS saying we need separate rooms. she was measuring the wall with her school ruler while i was still talking, already deciding where her pictures would go. i said i haven't even got an offer yet and she said i know, i'm just looking. wasn't a horrible thing to say but i wanted her to be a tiny bit sad about me leaving, not immediately start renovating. then dadi asked who would explain the drama to her and i got annoyed with that as well. no one can win today apparently.

went back to badminton with my mate and apparently my left ankle remembers that stupid landing better than i do, because i kept stopping short of the net even when it didn't hurt. the annoying bit is my arm was doing everything properly, nice clean hit and then my feet arriving about a year later. by the end i was hot enough to take my hoodie off and leave my glasses on instead of pretending i can see the shuttle perfectly without them. my face went bright red which my mate felt the need to announce to the whole sports hall, cheers for that, but i wanted another game when our time was up.
