Une cliente m'a rapporté le petit sac de ma fille, oublié au parc avec ses barrettes et deux cailloux. Elle l'avait reconnu à cause du prénom écrit dedans. J'étais soulagée, ma fille en faisait toute une affaire depuis hier, mais surtout touchée qu'elle ait pris la peine de monter jusqu'à nous au lieu de simplement le laisser à la caisse. J'ai dit merci trois fois, moi qui trouve toujours que les gens bavardent trop dans l'escalier. Elle voulait rien en échange. Ma fille a vérifié les cailloux avant de lui sourire. Enfin, chacun ses objets de valeur, je suppose.

Le petit de Toulouse m'a appelé pour me montrer son dessin du bateau et il avait mis le chien dedans, bien droit à l'avant comme un vrai marin ! Ça m'a tellement fait plaisir que je l'ai fait répéter à sa mère, comme si elle avait pas déjà vu la feuille. Et puis j'ai eu un coup de mou quand il est parti jouer avant que j'aie fini de raconter ma journée. Peuchère il a autre chose à faire que d'écouter son grand-père, je le sais bien, mais moi j'étais encore tout content avec le téléphone dans la main. Ma fille m'a envoyé le dessin après. Je l'ai montré au bar, le chien a reçu des compliments qu'il ne mérite absolument pas.

Für mein Wetterarchiv habe ich eine Karte angefangen, auf der man die nassen Jahre direkt vergleichen könnte. Dann fiel mir auf, dass ich ausgerechnet den Standortwechsel der Station nie ordentlich eingetragen habe. Super, der Mann mit den genauen Daten! Ich weiß noch, wo sie vorher stand, sogar welche Balkonbrüstung, aber das Datum steckt irgendwo zwischen Fotos und alten Rechnungen. Jetzt suche ich Bilder, und natürlich bleibe ich an jedem Kinderfoto hängen. Die Karte ist noch leer. Dafür weiß ich wieder, dass wir damals einen Sonnenschirm hatten, den ich seit Jahren suche. Wahrscheinlich findet sich die Stationsangabe, sobald ich den Schirm suche. So läuft der Betrieb hier.

跑车的说下午能到家，俺中午就把排骨拿出来了，想着这回先不叫别人，俩人好好吃顿饭，婆婆也高兴。结果他那边装货没完，又说赶不回来，俺电话里说正常，出门干活哪有准点，挂了就烦，锅盖放重了婆婆还以为我冲她。这也不是他故意的，可我都把想说的话攒好了，谁家闹了笑话，院门那个合页怎么回事，一下又没人听。晚上他发语音来，我故意过了一会儿才回，排骨给他留了，气也还留着一点。

En la sección he cambiado de sitio una fruta que casi nadie cogía y hoy se ha vendido bastante más. No cambié el precio ni llegó mejor género, solo quedó al lado de algo que la gente ya venía buscando. Me hace gracia que luego digamos que compramos exactamente lo que queremos, yo incluida, que entro a por una cosa y salgo con otra porque la he visto bonita. Llevo años viendo lo mismo y aun así me sorprende cuánto manda la primera mirada. He estado pensando dónde poner el resto sin que parezca que quiero colárselo a nadie. Vender bien no es esconder lo peor entre lo bueno. Eso lo tengo clarísimo, aunque algún proveedor crea que al abrir una caja no voy a mirar el fondo.

The little cardboard room I'm making looks wrong even though all the furniture fits. I thought it was the colours, then took the roof off and noticed there's nowhere for a person to stand when the door opens. I've been arranging it like a picture, not somewhere people would actually move around. Now I'm looking at our living room differently, especially the route everyone takes around my brother's stuff. A chair can look fine until somebody sits in it and needs their knees. I moved the model bed three times and the room suddenly made more sense. The tiny desk still blocks the window. I don't want to remove it because it took ages to make, which isn't really a design reason.

The boys want to change the order of our backyard throwing game. I said the old order works, which it does, but their version gives the younger one more turns instead of having him out first most of the time. I went through the rules they wrote on a piece of paper. There are a couple of gaps. There are also a couple in the version I've been using since I was their age. We can try theirs Saturday and see where it breaks down. I'm not changing baseball. It's three people throwing at a target by the fence. I did ask them to agree on the score before we start, because I know exactly how that argument will sound afterward.

Dad came to watch the boys hit in the basement and stayed longer than he said he would. He mostly watched from the stairs. When the younger one made solid contact, Dad nodded the way he does when a repair holds. I was pleased. The boy looked over to check whether he'd seen it and Dad said he had. That was enough for him. I wanted to tell my wife about it later but it sounded small when I started explaining. It was a good hour with my father and my sons, no problem that needed fixing, nobody asking for anything. I like those afternoons. I put the net away after they left and kept the ball they had used on the workbench.

Für den kleinen Bahnhof fehlt mir eine glaubwürdige Wandfarbe. Die bisherigen Versuche sehen entweder frisch renoviert oder absichtlich verwahrlost aus, während ich mich an das Gebäude meiner Kindheit ganz anders erinnere. Ich finde aber kein Foto, das meine Erinnerung bestätigt. Möglicherweise erinnere ich mich nicht an die Farbe, sondern an den dunklen Bahnsteig und meinen Vater, der aus der hellen Tür trat. Mit dieser Vermutung lässt sich schlecht ein Farbton mischen. Ich habe die Fassade vorerst neben die Anlage gestellt. Es ärgert mich, an einer Einzelheit hängen zu bleiben, die ein Besucher wahrscheinlich überhaupt nicht bemerken würde.

جلست بالقهوة مع أخوي بعد الدوام.. الكرسي واطي عن كراسي الديوانية وركبتي ما ارتاحت. مددت الرجل تحت الطاولة واصطدمت برجله. قال المكان ما يسعنا، وهو يسع أربعة لكن أنا ما عرفت أجلس فيه. بعد شوي غيرت الكرسي وصار أحسن. اليدين كانت باردة من ممرات الفندق، مسكت استكانة الشاي من فوق حتى تدفأ الأصابع. لما رجعت البيت انتبهت أني ما شلت كتفي من طول اليوم، نزلته وأنا أبدل القميص. فرق بسيط بس حسيت فيه. العشاء جاهز وجلست قبل ما أروح أشوف صوت المكيف. الصوت يقدر ينتظر عشر دقائق.
