Je cherche une pièce à jouer avec un adulte qui reprend le piano et s'excuse avant chaque mesure. Les morceaux dits faciles sont parfois d'une tristesse pédagogique admirable ; il a envie de musique, pas d'une récompense pour avoir survécu à huit mesures. J'ai essayé plusieurs accompagnements qui lui permettraient de tenir une partie simple sans être réduit à trois notes décoratives. L'un fonctionne assez bien, mais je dois retenir ma propre main gauche, toujours prête à meubler le silence comme une invitée nerveuse. Nous essaierons au prochain cours. J'aimerais surtout qu'il ait envie de recommencer avant que je lui demande de travailler.

Je relis le message de mon fils depuis Grenoble. Il demande s'il faut laver ensemble ses draps et ses serviettes, et ma réponse fait déjà presque une page : température, couleurs, horaires de la laverie, organisation de la semaine. J'ai effacé les horaires, que je ne connais même pas. Je pensais lui faciliter les choses, mais je me suis entendue parler comme pendant une leçon, avec une consigne après l'autre. Je ne sais pas quelle quantité d'explications il attend. Mon mari dit : réponds à sa question. C'est simple, dit ainsi. Il me reste tout de même trois phrases, et une question sur ses repas.

Estoy comparando lo que marca el sensor de humedad con lo que veo al abrir la tierra, y me desconcierta más cuando coinciden que cuando discrepan. Si discrepan me pongo a buscar el fallo; si coinciden pienso que para eso no hacía falta comprar nada. Un razonamiento estupendo para no aprender. Quiero apuntarlo durante varias semanas, con la misma hora y en los mismos puntos, antes de discutirlo con mi padre. No para ganarle la conversación, aunque un poco también. Lo que necesito saber es cuándo me ayuda a gastar menos agua y cuándo estoy mirando el móvil por costumbre, igual que otros miran el cielo sin sacar ninguna conclusión.

I'm comparing two train trips and keep adding expenses that are not actually part of either plan. A missed connection, an extra meal, a taxi if it rains. Sensible to allow some room, but eventually my imaginary trip costs twice as much as the one on the screen. My husband asked which place I wanted to see. I gave him the fares instead. I have written the full known cost on one sheet and the possible extras below it, so I can see what is a price and what is a worry. We have not booked. I would like to be able to talk about what we'll do there before explaining every reason we might not go.

The calf with the blue tag pushed the bottle so hard I had to move one foot back to stay balanced. My fingers were cold around it and his nose was warm and wet against my wrist, which sounds gross but wasn't really. Then I ran up to the house because I'd spent too long watching him finish. On the bus my cheeks were hot and I could feel a little bit of hay inside my sock. I kept forgetting about it until I moved my foot. By lunch I was so hungry I ate the apple I'd meant to save for later. Nothing exciting about any of this, I just felt awake all day instead of doing the usual half nap on the ride in.

CUCU ngajak lihat foto di hp kecil sekali gambarnya jadi duduknya mepet saya sampai bahu saya ketindih. Saya suruh geser sedikit dia malah taruh bantal di belakang saya, enak juga akhirnya duduk lama lihat satu satu. Kalau biasanya lihat sinetron tangan saya ikut bergerak ngomeli pemain, ini tangan diam di pangkuan, baru terasa hangat bekas habis cuci piring. Lutut saya luruskan di kursi sebelah, cucu bilang seperti ratu. Ratu kok disuruh tunggu iklan di hp, wes cepat fotonya mana. Tadi waktu berdiri harus pegang bahunya, anaknya tertawa tapi tidak pergi sampai saya sudah tegak.

Bin am Kanal mit dem Rad in den Regen gekommen. Erst bloß ein paar Tropfen, dann war das Hemd hinten nass und die Hose klebte an den Knien. Habe mich untergestellt, aber da wurde mir erst richtig kalt. Also langsam weiter, die Beine waren noch warm genug vom Treten. Zu Hause trockene Sachen angezogen und in der Küche hingesetzt, barfuß, mit einem Handtuch unter den Füßen. Petra stellte den Tee hin und meinte, ich hätte ja eine Jacke. Weiß ich. Mir war dann schon wieder wohl, nur die Haare tropften noch auf den Kragen. Die Schulter hat sich den ganzen Weg nicht beschwert. Die lässt auch nicht bei jedem Wetter denselben Spruch hören.

Әби продиктовала мне рецепт, и я попыталась заменить её «немного» и «сколько возьмёт» точными граммами. Она терпеливо ответила на первые вопросы, а потом сказала, что мука бывает разная и надо смотреть на тесто. Мне трудно записать инструкцию, которую нельзя проверить до того, как начинаешь. В таблице всё выглядело бы убедительнее, только съесть таблицу не получится. Хочу в следующий раз взвесить то, что она берёт рукой, и посмотреть разницу. Наверное, ей покажется, что я усложняю обычные эчпочмаки. Но я хочу уметь сделать их одна, а не каждый раз звонить с руками в муке.

夫が私の部屋の前で立ち止まって、今入ってもいいかと聞いた。空いた子ども部屋に机を置いてから、まだ自分の場所と言い切るのが落ち着かないのだけれど、その一言はうれしかった。用事は封筒をどこにしまったかという、ごく普通のことだった。私も普通に答えたので、夫は何も気づいていないと思う。扉を閉め直して本を開いたら、さっきより集中できた。家族を締め出したいわけではない、と説明しなくても通じたようでほっとしたのかもしれない。夕飯のときお礼を言おうとして、そんな大げさな話でもないかと思ってやめた。でも、聞いてくれたことはちゃんと覚えておきたい。

My roommate wants to rearrange our room so both of us can open our bags without moving the hotplate. I said simple, shift the cot, then we measured and found the door wouldn't open properly. Aiyyo, I can judge a narrow rescue space but apparently two bags and a cot are advanced mathematics. Drew the room on an old envelope and tried it that way, keeping the cooking corner clear. Now the trophies have no shelf. She says the trophies can move, unlike the wall. Correct point, irritating delivery. We've agreed to move the empty things first, otherwise we'll be trapped inside our own successful plan.
