Je prépare un coin lecture différent pour la classe, et je m'aperçois que mon plan est surtout joli vu d'en haut. À quatre ans, assis par terre, on verra essentiellement les dos des meubles. Je me suis donc installée à leur hauteur pour regarder, ce qui a fait entrer une collègue au moment où je contemplais très sérieusement un pied de bibliothèque. Il faudrait moins de séparation, pas davantage d'étiquettes. J'ai tendance à matérialiser chaque fonction jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus de place pour faire autre chose. Demain je déplacerai seulement le petit banc et j'observerai. Aucun passage par la plastifieuse prévu. Pour l'instant.

My daughter's return trip from college may be later tomorrow, and I am trying to decide what information I actually need before I ask her again. She already sent the place and the people going. The time is the part nobody knows, because their group work may finish early or late. If I write three questions she will answer only the last one, then I will send the others again. Better to ask her to message when they leave, but I keep thinking about her phone battery. We have a spare power bank in the labelled box. I can offer that without another whole discussion, although she will probably say she has her charger already.

My son called to say they couldn't come this weekend, and I told him quite truthfully that I understood. The children have their own commitments, and ninety minutes each way is not a small thing. Then I put away the extra biscuits and felt dreadfully sorry for myself, which was less gracious than the telephone version of me. I miss Walter most at those moments, when there's nobody beside me to be disappointed with. Wesley climbed into the grocery bag and made such a fuss getting out that I laughed despite myself. It didn't cure the evening, but I was glad of the interruption. I have kept the biscuits in the freezer.

Depois do inventário de madrugada eu sentei no ônibus achando que ia só descansar os olhos e acordei segurando a mochila como se alguém tivesse pedido pra eu carregar mais uma caixa. As pernas estavam inteiras, mas o sono pesava na cara mesmo, piscava e parecia que já era outro ponto. Cheguei em casa com fome e sem vontade de mastigar, combinação ótima. Comi devagar dessa vez, deixei o celular carregando longe da cama e apaguei. Quando acordei tinha marca do travesseiro no braço e minha irmã dizendo que eu tinha perdido metade do mundo. Se o mundo precisava de mim de manhã, podia ter avisado antes.

di grup RT ada pilihan hari buat kerja bakti minggu ini dan minggu depan. Kubaca tiga kali sebab yg menjawab cuma angka satu atau dua, aku takut salah setuju nanti dikira tidak mau datang. Menurutku kalau minggu ini saluran dibersihkan dulu enak sebelum hujan, tapi tetangga bilang belum semua orang bisa. Mau menulis panjang malah bingung kata-katanya, jadi kutanya Cak Man siapa yg mengurus alat. Ternyata dia juga belum tahu. Ini bikin pilihan di telepon sudah ramai dari pagi tetapi cangkul ditaruh mana belum ada yg tanya ... besok ketemu pak RT saja lebih jelas

j'ai voulu refaire de tête le risotto de mon père et je me rappelle très bien le bruit du riz au début, la casserole et sa façon de remuer, sauf que pour les quantités c'est le néant. lui dit au pif, le chef dit qu'au pif ça veut rien dire, moi je trouve surtout pénible d'être en apprentissage et de devoir rappeler papa pour savoir combien de bouillon mettre. j'ai pas prévu de cuisiner à la coloc, je vérifiais juste en regardant leur paquet de riz, nuance. maintenant l'électricien dit qu'il attend de goûter. super, j'ai regardé un placard et me voilà responsable du repas de dimanche, fallait laisser ce paquet tranquille 🙃

Une collègue m'a demandé pourquoi notre formulaire municipal réclamait deux fois la même adresse. J'allais expliquer la différence entre l'adresse du demandeur et celle du bâtiment, sauf qu'en le relisant je ne savais plus laquelle on demandait à cet endroit précis. Ça fait des années que je connais la réponse dans le code, donc je ne lis plus la question. On a essayé avec le cas d'une personne qui remplit la demande pour sa mère. Là, même nous deux on hésitait. J'ai noté les mots qui nous faisaient arrêter. Pas encore la solution. Je veux voir où une troisième personne bloque avant de réécrire ça avec une nouvelle certitude.

Spent an hour repotting the plant on my supposedly non-practical shelf, which has apparently become a plant-care station. I was sitting sideways on the kitchen floor and didn't notice the pressure in my hip until I tried to stand. Once upright I felt warm, a little shaky with hunger, and much less inclined to interpret every sensation as a mood. There was soil caught in the dry skin on two fingers, so washing took longer than expected. Made lunch, sat properly, watched the plant lean towards the window. My jaw wasn't clenched for once. I don't need that to signify anything beyond having had my hands occupied elsewhere.

One of the deli regulars remembered I was applying for radiography and asked how it was going, then waited for an actual answer instead of just taking her ham. I was weirdly touched, and also embarrassed because I still haven't sent the application. Said I was finishing a few things, which is technically true if staring at a paragraph counts. She told me her husband had a really kind X-ray tech when he was sick and she could picture me doing that job. I made a joke about it having fewer cheese options, because of course I did. Kept thinking about what she said all through closing. Didn't even tell my sister until we were in the car.

كنفكر كيف ندير تدريب للبنات اللي ما عندهمش نفس السرعة. إلا قلت نمشيو كاملين بنفس الوقت، السريعة كتمل والبطيئة كتخاف تبقى وحدها. غادي نقسم المسلك لنقط واضحة، الشجرة والحجرة الكبيرة، ويرجعوا يتجمعوا قبل الجزء الآخر. ما بغيت حتى وحدة تجري بعيد باش تبين أنها قوية وتضيع على الباقيات. شرحت الفكرة لراجلي وهو حسبها سباق بين المجموعات، قلت له لا، هذا تدريب ماشي كل نهار جائزة. خاصني نجرب ونشوف، الأرض ماشي ورقة والكلام ساهل في البيت. غادي نطلب من الكبيرة تعاون الصغيرة في البداية، ولكن ما نخليهاش تحكم عليها وتنسى أنها حتى هي كانت بطيئة.
