went in the pool with the kids and discovered my son can splash half of brisbane without moving from one spot, got water straight up my nose before i'd even decided whether it was cold. once i was in properly it felt good round my legs, none of that heavy feeling i get waiting for the train after work. tried floating and kept lifting my head to see what they were doing, which made the rest of me sink, excellent technique. sat on the edge afterwards with my feet still in. daughter handed me the towel without being asked. mostly because she wanted my dry chair, but i'll take the service.

بحسب وقت التوصيل وبكتشف إن كلمة في السكة بتضحك عليا. المطعم قريب من مشوار تاني فعلا، بس الركنة والانتظار لحد ما حد يستلم والرجوع للعربية بياخدوا وقت ما بيظهرش في الحساب. كتبت مشوار امبارح من أول ما شلت الطلب لحد ما رجعت، والرقم طلع أطول من اللي كنت بقوله لخطيبتي بكتير. مش عارف أزود سعر التوصيل ولا أجمع الطلبات في وقت واحد، لأن كل مطعم عايز ميعاده. وفي نفس الوقت أنا مش هكسب وقت بالشكوى من الزحمة كل يوم. هسأل اتنين منهم عن نافذة استلام أوسع، يمكن أنا معتبر مواعيدهم شروط نهائية وهم أصلا ممكن يغيروها.

I'm working on an old mower with no deadline, which apparently doesn't stop me wanting to find the fault immediately. It starts, runs a short while, stops. I'd already decided what was wrong before checking the simple things, because it sounded like a machine I fixed years ago. The parts didn't support that guess. So now I've got a short list and I'm going through it instead of buying anything. Funny how memory can save time or waste it with equal confidence. Dad rang and offered his diagnosis before I finished describing it. I told him what I'd checked. We disagree, so he'll probably turn up tomorrow to watch it stop.

Trying to fit Sunday's lesson into the time we actually have, not the time I imagine when I'm planning at home. I always put in one more activity and then hurry the children through the bit they want to talk about. This week's question on the sheet is simple, but I can already hear three different stories they'll tell in answer. If I keep the craft there won't be room. Hate dropping a thing I've gathered supplies for, all those pieces cut out, but paper can wait in a drawer. I crossed out the craft and then wrote optional beside it. Apparently I am still negotiating with my own lesson plan.

今天手不麻，腿也不酸！没训练，带小的去江滩骑车，他骑我跑，出门还觉得这有什么难的，跑过第二排树就开始喘了。太阳晒在后脖子上，汗往球衣里面流，背上痒，又不能停下来挠，他刚学会看前面，旁边有人我得跟紧点。后来在树荫里蹲下，他非要把水杯递到我嘴边，差点倒我鼻子里。喝了水坐一会儿，胸口就没那么急了，鞋里面倒还是热的。回家上楼，小腿肚子有点绷，跟扑球以后大腿前面酸还不是一个地方。晚上捏腿的时候找到左边一小块特别紧的，按重了会缩脚，没肿。小的还说明天再去，他骑车倒不费他的腿！我现在肚子空得响，面里要多加一个蛋，吃完再说。

Mi hija mandó un audio desde Madrid riéndose de una vaina q le pasó con una compañera y yo lo escuché tres veces. No por entender el cuento, se oía tan contenta q me daban ganas de estar metida ahí también. Le contesté con mi risa más escandalosa y después me quedé medio boba en la cocina. Me alegra q tenga gente allá, claro q sí, pero conocerlas sólo por nombres es raro, una tal compañera sabe cómo estuvo su día antes q yo. No se lo voy a decir, qué ladilla una madre celosa de una muchacha q ni conoce. Le pedí foto de las dos y ya me la mandó.

J'avais prévu de changer de chemise avant le dernier rendez-vous, mais en arrivant j'ai surtout senti que j'avais besoin de manger. Le col était humide, oui, mais le creux dans le ventre ne venait pas du vêtement. J'avais pris du café tôt et repoussé le repas à chaque visite. Je me suis assis pour finir quelque chose, sans tenir le téléphone de l'autre main. Le pouce droit chauffait encore après toutes les relances. En repartant, les jambes étaient moins lourdes et ma voix moins sèche. La chemise de rechange était toujours dans le sac. Pour une fois, ce n'était pas elle qui réglait le problème.

В метро по дороге домой удалось сесть, и я почти сразу начал засыпать, хотя собирался дочитать рабочий файл. Телефон дважды опустился на колени, после второго раза убрал его в карман. Шесть часов сна вроде не так мало по сравнению с проектной неделей, но глаза сегодня закрывались сами. На своей станции встал слишком резко, пришлось секунду подержаться за поручень, пока голова перестала быть ватной. Дошёл до квартиры уже бодрее и зачем-то включил оба монитора. Экран показался очень ярким, убавил. Потом всё-таки закрыл ноутбук, разогрел еду. После еды хотелось только лечь, никаких других показателей организм не предложил.

يا كشكول، قرأت صفحة بصوت مرتفع لحفيدتي الصغيرة، فطلبت أن أعيدها لأن صوت الرجل العجوز في الحكاية أعجبها. قلت لها إن هذا ليس تمثيلًا بعيدًا عن الأصل، ثم أعدت الصفحة. في المرة الثانية جفّ فمي واحتجت إلى الماء، وكان طقم الأسنان يتحرك قليلًا عند كلمة طويلة فأبطأت. لم تضجر الطفلة من بطئي، بل كانت تنتظر الكلمة لتضحك، وهذا أراحني. بعد انصرافها بقي في حلقي أثر القراءة، لا ألمًا، بل تعبًا خفيفًا أعرفه من الأيام التي كنت أقرأ فيها لأبي الجريدة. أسندت رأسي إلى الكرسي، وتركت الصفحة مفتوحة؛ العين تريد إكمال الحكاية، والصوت طلب إجازة قصيرة.

En la llamada mi madre giró el teléfono para mostrarme una tela que estaba arreglando. No vi casi nada porque apuntaba al techo, pero escuché las tijeras y cómo buscaba el hilo hablando sola. Me dio un cariño grande ese ruido, me acordé de hacer tareas a su lado mientras ella cosía. Le dije que dejara el teléfono apoyado, que podía seguir, y conversamos así sin mirarnos todo el tiempo. Me contó la novela mezclada con lo que estaba cosiendo y tuve que preguntarle cuál de las dos mujeres era de verdad. Se rio bastante. Cuando cortamos me quedé tranquilo, como después de una visita, no solamente de comprobar que había comido y tomado su pastilla.
