My little grandson wanted to race me along the shore and would not accept that I was wearing my church sandals, as if running is only a matter of agreeing to run. I gave him a small start and went after him, not far, but enough to feel the air coming into my chest properly and the sand moving under my feet. The left knee complained when I stopped, so I stood looking at a boat until that passed. The boy came back to ask why I was taking so long. He has no respect for a man who has just allowed him to win. I was still warm when we sat down and he kept leaning his whole hot head against my arm.

In class I can picture the shape we're working out, but I get stuck turning it into the written calculation. Once somebody draws the angle on the piece, I know where we are. On a page I keep checking whether I've used the right side, then checking again until I've forgotten why I chose it. Tried making a rough sketch before touching the numbers. Messier notes, much clearer problem. I don't want someone to give me the answer just so I can keep up with the room. I want to be able to look at the number afterwards and know whether it makes sense. Going to bring the sketch to the next class and ask about that step.

Estou a preparar uma leitura para a turma a partir de coisas do mercado, com preços e nomes que eles conhecem. Não quero que seja apenas uma conta disfarçada de história. Um menino disse que a avó vende de maneira diferente da senhora que eu pus no exemplo, e outro explicou que às vezes o cliente leva e paga depois. Ora aí está uma complicação que o meu papel limpinho não tinha! Anotei as duas observações. Quero que percebam o texto, mas também que possam discordar dele sem achar que estão a desobedecer ao professor. Agora tenho três versões da mesma compra e nenhuma cabe na folha. Amanhã escolho uma antes de entrar na sala, senão passamos a manhã na praça.

Choir practice went on longer than expected because we kept entering the bass part too early. By the last attempt I could feel the effort below my ribs when I took a breath, and my throat was dry from trying to make the note louder instead of steadier. I sat for a while after we finished; the knee was stiff from standing, but the rest of me felt pleasantly warm. On the way home I hummed the part quietly and it came more easily. Akosua heard me at the door and asked whether we had learned a new song or damaged an old one. I laughed, then had to stop and drink water before answering. The voice had done its shift.

The goalie waved from the ice after making a save, right toward where I was standing. I nearly yelled something embarrassing, then did yell something embarrassing, so there we are. On the ride home he asked if I'd seen it. Described the whole thing back to him and he grinned at the window. GOOD mood in the car. His sister said I never get that excited about her stuff, which took the air out of me. Told her that wasn't fair, too fast. Been thinking about it since. I don't know half the things she watches or makes. I am proud of her too, but apparently that information has not reached the intended person.

The nine-year-old asked if I would sit and watch the whole little show they were putting on, not just the beginning. That part stung. I said yes and left my phone on the counter, then got treated to a very serious story involving a blanket, a missing shoe and our dog refusing his assigned role. I laughed so hard the kid stopped to tell me it wasn't the funny part yet. Felt good to be wanted for an audience instead of to find something or sign something. Also a little guilty that they had to specify the WHOLE show. I stayed through the announcement about tomorrow's performance too.

娘と京都に行くなら、と古いパンフレットを開いたのに、見ていたのは有名なお寺より喫茶店の写真でした。窓のそばに二人分の席があって、娘が何を注文するか考えていました。小さい頃は私が選んでばかりいましたが、今は知らない好みがずいぶんありそうです。電話では仕事や母の様子を話すと時間が過ぎてしまい、そういう細かなことを聞かなくなりました。旅行の日程はまだ決められません。それでも、次の電話で好きなケーキくらい聞いてもいいのに、どうして特別な場所まで行かないと話せないように思っていたのでしょう。

опять смотрела билеты до Сочи и уже чуть не нажала купить потому что цена вроде норм, потом дошло что это в одну сторону и без чемодана, спасибо очень удобно))) брату пока не написала а то у нас уже было море в чате и отмена через два часа. хочу в этот раз сразу понять сколько надо на всё, не только долететь и стоять красивые у аэропорта. открыла заметку записала жильё дорога еда, потом вспомнила крыс, их тоже кто-то должен кормить. соседка согласилась если даты заранее скажу. ну вот уже один пункт без денег решён, остальные пока смотрят на меня с экрана

Un homme du quartier est venu au cours sur la plage après m'avoir beaucoup taquiné sur mon métier de tapis. Je l'ai reconnu de loin et j'étais content, mais j'avais aussi envie de lui rendre ses petites phrases. Quand il a perdu l'équilibre, j'ai senti la blague arriver, très facile, tout le monde aurait ri. Je l'ai gardée pour moi, et c'est lui qui a ri de ses jambes. Après le cours il m'a demandé à quelle heure on commence samedi prochain. Waaw, j'étais fier, je ne vais pas faire semblant. J'ai raconté cela à ma femme avec moins de douceur que je n'en avais montré sur le sable.

A carrinha usada que ando a ver ficou mais barata no anúncio. O preço agora cabe quase no que tenho mas depois falta o seguro e a inspeção, e não sei se aqueles pneus passam. Nas fotografias só se vê bem o lado de fora. Já escrevi a perguntar pelos quilómetros e apaguei, se o homem ligar vou ter de lhe dizer alguma coisa. Podia ir com o patrão ver o motor, ele percebe mais que eu e conhece os barulhos. Mas primeiro tinha de lhe pedir. Para já guardei as fotografias. A porta de trás parece um bocado torta, pode ser só do sítio onde estava estacionada.
