amtsweg Body

Beim Wandern war ich heute etwas langsamer als vorgesehen, da der Weg nach dem Regen stellenweise rutschig geblieben war. Das vorsichtige Auftreten habe ich vor allem in den Oberschenkeln gespürt; die Knie meldeten sich erst beim Abstieg, ohne dass ich deshalb stehen bleiben musste. Auf der Bank am Parkplatz war mir dann warm, obwohl der Wind durch das feuchte Hemd ging. Ich saß länger dort als gewöhnlich und stellte fest, dass ich meinen Rücken an keiner Stelle zurechtrücken musste. Nach den Stunden über der Modellanlage ist das nicht selbstverständlich. Die Schuhe waren gründlich verschmutzt. Der Ausflug war trotzdem zufriedenstellend.

Went to the pub for one and found half the five-a-side lot already there, including a mate who'd been away working for ages. Nobody told me he was coming, I just walked in and he shouted that I still owed him a pint. Probably do. Felt brilliant seeing him, the kind of good mood where you start agreeing to things before you know what they are. Now apparently we're playing Sunday as well, and I offered lifts, though I'm not certain how many people fit in the van if I move everything. I'll sort it. Stayed longer than planned, obviously. Got home still laughing at a story that won't sound funny written down, so I'm not going to ruin it by trying.

ひとり鍋 Mind

古い映画を見ていて、聞き取れない台詞より、聞き取れたつもりの台詞の方が危ないと思った。登場人物がなぜ笑ったのか分からず、三回戻して、ようやく別の単語だったと気づいた。音は最初から同じなのに、一度意味を決めると、その意味に合うように聞こえてしまう。研究の録音でも同じことをしていないだろうか。気になる箇所をノートに書いたが、映画を見る時間にまで確認事項を増やしたくない気持ちもある。今夜は続きを止めずに見た。分からなかった台詞の場所は、やはり覚えている。

Tadi anak bungsu minta digendong sampai warung, padahal warungnya cuma di depan rumah. Saya angkat juga, ternyata kakinya sudah sepanjang itu, tumitnya menendang paha saya setiap dia tertawa. Bahu kiri cepat terasa pegal, jadi saya pindahkan dia ke kanan, lalu dia protes karena tidak bisa melihat ibunya. Dulu ketiga anak bisa saya gendong sambil membawa belanjaan, sekarang satu saja membuat napas agak ramai. Tapi waktu diturunkan malah tangan saya masih seperti menahan beratnya, kosong sebentar. Dia sudah lari mencari kerupuk, saya masih berdiri membenarkan pinggang celana yang ikut melorot.

寺の手伝いに行ったら、前に一度会った人が俺の分の弁当を取っといてくれた。遅れたわけでもないのに、なくなると思って、と言われた。なんで俺のを気にするんやろと思ったけど、飯を食う場所も空けてくれたので座った。仕事のことを少し聞かれて答えたら、あとはその人が自分の軽トラの話をしとった。別に何か頼みたいわけでもなかった。帰る時、またなと言われて、はいと返した。嫌な感じはせんかった。家で祖母にどうやったと聞かれ、普通やったと言った。弁当はうまかった。

قعدت أنقي الخضرة على الكرسي الواطي كالعادة ولما قمت الركبتين قالوا لا، استني شوية. وقفت ماسكة طرف الطربيزة لحد ما فردت ضهري وبعدين مشيت في الحوش، أول خطوات تقيلة وبعدها الرجل تفك. بنتي شافتني وقالت ما أنا جبت لك كرسي أعلى، قلت لها الواطي أقرب للطشت، فقالت ارفعي الطشت كمان. عندها حق في دي. نقلت الحاجة للطربيزة وكملت، إيدي تعرف الشغل من غير ما أفضل باصة لكل ورقة، والخشونة في الكف ماسكة العيدان كويس. لما خلصت ما احتجتش أقوم على مرتين. الكرسي القديم لسه مكانه، مش كل حاجة تتشال عشان يوم تعبت فيه.

夜勤明け、朝食後に庭へ出た。座って食べている間は平気だったが、じょうろを持つと指が曲がったままで、柄を握り直した。運転室でレバーを持つ形が残っているようだった。水やりを終えて手を開閉すると戻ったので、そのまま葉の裏も確認。日が当たると首の後ろが温かく、肩を回すのは工場にいる時より楽だった。作業を追加すると寝る時刻が遅れるため、草抜きはしていない。布団に入った後、背中は疲れているのに目だけ冴えていた。予定通りに横になれば眠れる、とはいかなかった。

findtheseam Emotion

One of the newer cutters asked me to check an order before he wrapped it. It was right, and I told him so. He looked relieved enough that I added that I wasn't looking for a reason to reject everything he did. He said he knew, but I wasn't sure he did. That bothered me. I'm proud of what he's learning and apparently I mostly communicate what still needs fixing. Later he made a joke about my handwriting on the order sheet and I was glad he felt comfortable enough. The handwriting deserved it. I don't want everyone handling me as carefully as the knives.

got a whole afternoon off and played basketball with my cousins till i was sweating through the back of my shirt, not even a proper game at first just taking turns shooting and talking trash. my ankle was alright but i could feel the legs getting slow when the younger ones wanted full court, told them i was saving energy for important stuff like dinner. hands felt normal holding the ball which i kept noticing more than usual after the plant shifts. sat on the floor by the bench afterwards and drank water, hungry enough to eat whatever was at home. mom had rice ready and i ate two plates before anybody asked if we won

my little brother asked how i can remember what to do in the welding lab when i forget half the stuff in the book, and i didnt have a good answer except you can see it when youre doing it. been thinking maybe i could draw the parts beside the notes instead of reading the same page five times and getting mad at the page. not fancy drawings, just enough that i know which bit the sentence means. girlfriend usually explains it out loud and that helps too but she has her own studying, cant make her read every chapter twice. tried one picture tonight, it looks like a bent shopping cart but i know what its meant to be
